Where have I been????

Holy smokes, y'all.
I've fallen a BIT behind here, have I not? I blame it all on Daniel Timothy Drummond. That's my magical son. As soon as he came along in February of 2008, the whole world's changed and current events all involved kid things.
But now it's September of 2009 and I'm attempting to get back on the train!
I've done a bunch of things since we last spoke, but for the sake of time, we'll concentrate on the two projects I have coming up!
NUMBAH ONE! I'm in tech right now for a stage production of ON THE TOWN. This will be at the Lesher Center for the Arts in Walnut Creek, CA. It's being produced by Diablo Light Opera Company (check out www.DLOC.org) and runs 9/11 through 9/27 so by all means, come on out and see me dance and sing in a sailor suit! Yeah, that's what I said, a sailor suit. I'm having Sea World flashbacks on a daily basis.
NUMBAH TWO! I did eight days of shooting on the new NBC medical drama called, "Trauma" a few weeks ago. I've got three scenes in either episode two, or three, or both (depending on how it's edited in this two-parter). It premieres end of Sept, I hear, so watch and see me almost get hit by a car. Does my stunt double look like me? :)
So, LIFE IS DAMN GOOD. And for now, we'll just leave it right there. I'll write in more detail later.
In the year 2011. :)

So much has happened!!

Greetings, all!

I've fallen so far behind on these current
events it's like I'm living in last year.
Only have a few seconds before I run out the
door, so here's what's news!

1) We had a baby! Daniel Timothy Drummond was
born on 2/13/08. 7lbs 11oz and 20.5 inches long.
He's magical. And the reason why I've fallen
behind on most things that don't involve diapers
or formula. :)

2) I'm working for the Willows Theatre this
summer! I'm playing "Frank Butler" in ANNIE GET
YOUR GUN and "Lewis" (of Lewis and Clark fame) in
a new musical called SACAGEWEA. Come check it
out! All in the info is on:

http://www.willowstheatre.com/

3) Just shot a national spot for Kaiser
Permanente Hospitals! If you have them in your
state, look for me in a green sweater-vest riding
a bike through downtown San Francisco! Also did
some voicework on the upcoming videogame
"GODFATHER 2". I play a cop who may be on your
side.....or maybe isn't. :) If you're a gamer,
check it out!

Baby's doing great! Lisa's doing great! Life's
grand! Gotta run! Something is crying in the next
room!

Love,
Ryan

This whole Sonic thang....

Hey everyone,
Just a quick holla at all the powerful Sonic
fans around the globe!
Wanted to let you know a few things since I've
got about 2500 emails just this week about this.
Let me clear up some questions en masse...

1) No, I'm not doing any voice work for Brawl.

2) No, no one has contacted me or my agent about
doing any voicework for Brawl.

3) If you DO hear my voice in there somewhere,
they are recycling voice files from past games.
No, it's not illegal and no they do not need my
permission to do that.

4) There is no news to tell, unfortunately. Any
attempts by my people to contact their people
resulted in nothing.

5) Many thanks to everyone who's calling
Nintendo and letting their voice be heard! If I
could round you all up we'd all go out for
pizza!! :) Y'all are awesome.

This update is for my mom and everyone else

Hi mom and everyone else. :)
It's me, FINALLY updating my website after many
months of silence! Sorry about that. A lot been
going on since the closing of Farnsworth
Invention way back in....whenever that was, but
I'll just let you know the main bullet points to
avoid making you yawn, eh?
First of all, LISA'S PREGNANT!!! Yes! Next
February (the 5th, they tell us), we're going to
become parents. Can you believe it? Cuz I can't!
:) Next week we are supposed to find out what
species it is. That will be exciting. So far the
pregnancy has been really smooth for mama. Let's
hope it stays that way for the next four or five
months!
Second of all, WE MOVED!!! Yes! We left our
comfy existence in San Diego and made the move up
the coast to San Francisco. Maybe in another ten
years we'll try another "San" city. San Antonio?
Probably not. We love it here! We have a great
house in the East Bay, and we're just 15 minutes
away from Lisa's parents, so that'll come in
wayyyy handy next February or so. :)
The job front has been encouraging so far, even
though I've only been here for a couple weeks.
Signed with JE Talent (http://www.jetalent.com/)
just recently, and they've been sending me out on
all kinds of VO auditions, so that's great. Also
booked a couple industrials back in San Diego (of
course) so I'll be heading back there for little
trips in Sept and Oct.
Speaking of Sept! If you are going to be in
Southeastern Michigan on Saturday, Sept 22nd,
I've got your night planned for you! The mighty
AYU QUARTET is having a reunion concert that
night on the campus of Eastern Michigan
University! At Sponberg Theater! 15 bucks (I
think) to help us celebrate 15 years as one of
America's premiere acappella groups. Come on
down, enjoy the music, get a hug. That's a deal!
Email me if you want more info. Or if you know me
like that, give me a call. :)
Okay, I'm sure there's tons more to say, but
I'm going to leave it at that. Baby, San
Francisco, new agent, AYU, pudding....I think
that about does it!
More later.....but when? :)
