Hey all. Okay, I've got 400 emails about this
apparent situation where 4Kids is not going to be
handling the voices for Sonic anymore. Thanks for
the heads up! I've put in some emails to Sega to
see if:
1) It's even true to begin with
2) If they're going to be in charge of the
voices again
3) What kind of deal we can work out if they're
in a postition to do so.
While this may seem like good news, PLEASE don't
hold your breath! Many moons and stars will have
to allign before this may be any kind of good
news for a Sonic/Drummond reunion! Cross your
fingers, but really, don't expect anything to
happen with this. It's going to take a lot of
negotiations and knowing Sega that WON'T be easy.

I've sent many e-mails about this; to think just as Sonic games are getting back to their old style, their old voice actors might be coming back.
In my opinion, they should remake all games after Shadow the RODENT and Sonic the Hedgehog since they contained the horrible voice actors without the option to use the original Japanese voices.
Ryan, I'm looking forward to your return in the Sonic series.

You ROCK Ryan, I hope that you get your voice acting job fo Sonic back, Jason Griffith has NO emotions and He sounds wimpy but you dont.

We need you! Sonic needs you! Please Ryan! You were so good when you were the voice of Sonic. You were the original. And now the original needs to make a comeback. Please, I begging you. You were the best voice actor for Sonic and you still are.
By the way, did you hear Sonic's laugh in Sonic 06? He sounded like a total goofball! Griffith is wack at the voice of Sonic!
i liked shadow's voice and i loved shadow's game. and i really DON'T CARE WHAT THE CRITICS SAY ABOUT IT!!!! but the voice over actor does a WAY BETTER JOB on shadow than he did on SONIC! SONICS VOICE STINKS!!!!!! WE NEED YA BACK MAN!!! PLZ! the other voices stink too! knuckels for example! his voice is so irritateing now! that and tails! rouge even sounded better in SA2. let's face as a large shadow fan i notice this! sonic is so wimpy now, and his story line is dying out. after sa2 since sonic heroes debuted, sonic has been so lame T_T. i always did like shadow better because of his anti-hero reputation. but still, they neeD to get you back as sonic's voice over, your the one that fits his charecter, that and knuckels!
if your selected again, sonic will be way BETTER and so will knuckels!
Jason Griffith better suits his role as shadow than he does as sonic!

I really hope that you get your job back Ryan.Seriously Jaon Griffith is horrible his voice acting has NO emotion and does a horrible a horrible job as sonic AND shadow he's a horrible voice actor.You're voice acting is awesome though. ^_^
Drummond & Humphrey, that's the way it should be. It would be great to see such a reunion in a Sonic game. Hopefully, Sega will make the right choice. Take it easy.
Hey Ryan. I really hope you can come back as Sonic. Griffith needs to stick to Rayman, not Sonic. As one person on youtube put "Griffith makes Sonic sound like a dork."
At least there's some shining hope.

You are a Sonic God, dude. No other Sonic voice actor has done as good, not even Jaleel White did as good. While Sonic should sound like a hyperactive Teenager, he made him sound, TOO young and TOO hyperactive (but he was still great), while Griffith makes him Sound older... Maybe Sega are doing this to make the effect of Sonic getting older with his games, but in that case, they fail to realize that ever Since 1991, Sonic has been a Symbol of youth and Speed. Sonic NEVER gets old. That's why Griffith just doesn't cut it. You were the only one I see that made Sonic sound Flawless. We need you dude.
now... i have to say... You arent replaceable. I hate all of the other sonic voices. yours is the best. I can't imagine how you could make a voice like that. But its awesome!!!!!!! .like i said. You are unique. Sega can't take you away. LOL!!

Drummond, you are a great voice actor. Griffith sucks. He can't even use emotion well. He should go to acting school with Ben Affleck. You are awesome, and having you back would REALLY help the Sonic franchise.
You would be my first choice to voice Sonic.
