The Mid-April Update

About time I updated this blog, isn't it?

Well, THE FARNSWORTH INVENTION closed about three
weeks ago, and what a run it was! A really good
show and we were all very proud. So good, in
fact, that Steven Spielberg came TWICE! And hey,
if that busy man wants to come to see our show
more than once, then that's a pretty good sign.
And yes, he had money invested in the project,
but still, that was an honor. Mr. Sorkin assured
us at the closing-night champagne toast that this
was the "first step in a long road for this
show", so we'll see what that translates to in
the days to come.
And since then I have been THOROUGHLY enjoying
some time off! It's been a while (which is
awesome) and so I'm really soakin this one up
with a biscuit.
Got caught up on a number of emails, things I
had meant to get to in a long time, spending some
time at home! And so far, just enough VO jobs and
the like have come in to keep me from going stir
crazy. It's been just lovely.
And what's NEXT some of you have asked? Well,
NOTHING. You see, Lisa and I are MOVING! To San
Fransisco! At the end of the summer! And as much
as we don't want to admit, that time is coming up
rather soon. So, between now and August 1st (our
target date to flee the city), the majority of my
time will be spent preparing to relocate. I see
many many many boxes in my future! If you're
curious WHY we're moving, and you know me
personally, go ahead and message me and I'll let
you know (though it's not too terribly
earth-shattering, really). If you don't know me
personally, trust me, it's nothing you'd be
interested in. Unless you want to hear about
home-ownership and in-laws and things.
